How Open Source and Drupal Help Government Organizations Perform their Mission

Attendance

The Web is having a profound impact on how politicians and government agencies communicate and engage with citizens.

Around the globe, government agencies are embracing open source web technologies, and specifically Drupal, to facilitate that communication.

In this session, Dries Buytaert, founder of the Drupal project and Acquia CTO, will discuss the evolution of Drupal adoption in the public sector around the globe. He will talk about who has adopted Drupal and why they selected it, as well as provide examples of how agencies are using Drupal to increase citizen participation and to power their open government initiatives.
